Fire Maul Tools now brings you our Old Papi's custom handle line for standard single-bit axes to your doorstep. Once originally designed for our Fire Fighter Tools, we perfected in-house CNC milling to put you in control of your handle! Milled directly from premium grade hickory. Our Handle blanks are hand pick the finest boards pre-screened for grain orientation and clear of runout.

Choose Length, Straight or Curved and even Grip Lacing options. Our Grip Lacing came from our fire line of handles, helping tools stay in hands with big bulky gloves. They are a sure way to form fit to your base hand and control your axe, or you can leave them off for a smooth finish.

Each handle comes with an Old Papi™s Tool Lube sample for conditioning and our Axe-Lock Epoxy and Wedge Kit. One wood wedge and two round metal wedges for installing the handle.

FYI - Current lead times for hickory orders are up to 45 days before shipment. Our custom line is in high demand and each order is milled individually.
